It's an awesome project that features a slew of illustrators, each who have made a "luggage tag" after cities from the famous Johnny Cash song (originally written by Geoff Mack). I chose Little Rock, Arkansas as my place of interest, and had a fun time illustrating. Alex and I are both designers, and we had determined to build/make/do nearly everything ourselves for this wedding. So we hand letterpressed all of our print materials, made a simple website, hand painted and hung signs for directing guests to their tables, built our own chuppah, and much more. We cranked, truly, over 1000 sheets of paper through those rollers, and over those plates. With every new thing, it took some trial and error, but we generally found a good pace, and loved every second. <img src="http://payload86.cargocollective.com/1/1/42128/4020988/process2_7.gif" width="670" height="447" width_o="670" height_o="447" src_o="http://payload86.cargocollective.com/1/1/42128/4020988/process2_7_o.gif" data-mid="27854430" border="0" align="left"/>The red we used to print the small info. card for the invite, we totally mixed by hand. Using a weird deep red, some white, and some pink, we came up with a nice cocktail of color that resembled what we had in mind.
